One night we all bundled up to go ride the train and look at the lights. Got all the way up there and it wasn't running that night! 
Sis loved the singing snowmen at Grandmas. There were about 10 and she would get all of them going at the same time!
The Christmas tradition at hubbys parents is a monopoly game. Not just any game, but a collectors edition his grandmother bought years ago. Its heavy wood with real gold & silver pieces. Only her grandkids are allowed to play. No spouses or kids. Whoever wins gets to take it home for the year and bring it back next time. Hubby has won 3 years in a row now. Not that I want him to lose, but that thing is a lot of trouble to tote back and forth then store for a year where it won't get messed up!!
