Jamaica

Last week we went on our "annual adult only vacation" with B & T. Its always lots of fun & you never know quite what to expect. Even though they live close we sometimes go quite a while without seeing or talking to them. But thats the great part of such good friends. It can be forever but we can pick up right where we left off like it was just yesterday!

We stayed at the Iberostar Grand Suites in Rose Hall Jamaica.

We did absolutely nothing the whole time.

Except move between the beach and the pool :)

I was worried about the tropical storm but we were on the north side of the island so all we saw was a few clouds one day and sunshine/blue skies the rest of the time.

 Our first night there we ate at the Japanese restaurant. (kind of a fuzzy pic but thats what happens when you let the guys be in charge of a photo op!)

 There was a huge stair case that went up from the beach entrance to the lobby level. This pic doesn't even do it justice.

 There were "beds" on the beach. Perfect for napping :)

 We spent a lot of time at the pool too.

 & for those of you who know me & my fear of water...getting in the ocean up to my waist was HUGE. But the water was crystal clear so I was good.

 The pics are out of order ...this was our last night. We had Italian. There were 5 restaurants to choose from & they were all wonderful!

 This was night 2. I think it was "Surf & Turf" (steak & lobster)

 Aug 6 is their Independence Day. They had a huge pirate ship & show on the beach.

 Our 3rd night...I think we had steak & lobster again!

 The guys just weren't too great with their photography skills!
